Ketan Hein

Hi! My name is Ketan Hein. I attended Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, and I graduated with a BA in Psychology. I also hold a TESOL certification awarded through the American TESOL Institute. I am a member of KOTESOL organization.

In December 2009, I moved to Andong, South Korea, and taught at Avalon English Academy. In January 2014, I moved to Daegu, and taught for Korea Poly School. I taught subjects ranging from science and social studies, to grammar, vocabulary, phonics, and even art and math. In August 2014, I was hired to be the homeroom teacher for fourth grade students at Yeil International English School. I taught math, science, English-Language Arts, reading, social studies, and physical education. In June 2015, Yeil closed down, and I had to find another school. I now work at a kindergarten and elementary ESL academy in Seoul, called Circle College Language Academy.

Apart from teaching children, I also have experience teaching adult ESL learners, and taught a conversation class for two years.
